Ferrari 70th Anniversary Festival

For the 70th anniversary of ‘Ferrari’ and the 50th anniversary of the Ferrari Owner’s Club, the Knockhill Racing Circuit held a festival for the brand with Ferrari’s from various decades being put on display with others being taken around the track by their owners plus Pirelli Ferrari Formula Classic Series qualifying on the track on what was a rather dull and wet Saturday.

Below we have the Ferrari F50, La Ferrari and Enzo parked next to each other each gathering some of the crowds;

Due to the weather there I didn’t get many picture of the Ferrari’s out on the track but here are some of the attempts I made;

As well as photography with some of the cars I also filmed some of the cars round the track including over 50 Ferrari’s doing a parade lap round the track:

Forth Rail Bridge Sunset

Sunset behind one of Scotland’s best known landmarks and UNESCO World Heritage site, the Forth Rail Bridge on a spring evening. ¬†Also seen in the background is the Forth Road Bridge and the nearly finished Queensferry Crossing.

With plenty of visits to this bridge many times before I’d say this is probably the best picture I have managed to get of the bridge.

Built between 1883 & 1890 the Forth Rail Bridge is 2.5 km long across the Firth of Forth between South Queensferry/Dalmeny and North Queensferry and still currently serves on 200 rail services today even with the occasional steam train passing;
