Sunset behind one of Scotland’s best known landmarks and UNESCO World Heritage site, the Forth Rail Bridge on a spring evening. Also seen in the background is the Forth Road Bridge and the nearly finished Queensferry Crossing.
With plenty of visits to this bridge many times before I’d say this is probably the best picture I have managed to get of the bridge.
Built between 1883 & 1890 the Forth Rail Bridge is 2.5 km long across the Firth of Forth between South Queensferry/Dalmeny and North Queensferry and still currently serves on 200 rail services today even with the occasional steam train passing;
