A couple of pictures from the World of Supercars Event at the Knockhill Racing Circuit in Scotland on the 23rd of July 2017.
A McLaren P1 (Carbon version) in the main paddock area drawing most the attention in the rain for that part of the day.
Martini Racing liveried Porsche 911 GT3 arriving back in the paddock after a parade lap while the sun appears for the first time during the day.
One of the other main attractions at this event was the Lamborghini Huracan Performante in bright yellow, showing what a super car should look like.
The event also allowed various car owners to show off their cars round the track at Knockhill, in this picture a Porsche 911 GT3 RS & 911 Carrera are seen exiting the hairpin onto the main straight on the circuit.
Of course, at a super car event you can’t miss out on a picture of a Ferrari. In this image a Ferrari 458 is seen accelerating away from the hairpin along the main straight on the circuit.
For the 70th anniversary of ‘Ferrari’ and the 50th anniversary of the Ferrari Owner’s Club, the Knockhill Racing Circuit held a festival for the brand with Ferrari’s from various decades being put on display with others being taken around the track by their owners plus Pirelli Ferrari Formula Classic Series qualifying on the track on what was a rather dull and wet Saturday.
Below we have the Ferrari F50, La Ferrari and Enzo parked next to each other each gathering some of the crowds;
Due to the weather there I didn’t get many picture of the Ferrari’s out on the track but here are some of the attempts I made;
A visit to Motherwell for the ‘Tartan Tarmac’ meet in some nice spring weather so I thought I’d try some different pictures from what I normally take. With plenty of cars there ranging from hatchbacks to supercars there was plenty of variety for photographs.
First of all we have a Ferrari 458:
A McLaren 570S:
And the last picture from the meet, Aston Martin Vantage:
